Around the end of this decade, Kia and Hyundai will spend a minimum of $18 billion in their transitions into businesses that solely sell electric automobiles.

The South Korean automakers will create a brand-new electric vehicle design as part of their initiatives,

which will allegedly accommodate one of the biggest batteries in the sector.

A Kia-branded sedan should be the first production vehicle to be built on that platform.

This vehicle's project name is GT1, and according to a recent report from ET News,

it will likely be positioned in the mid-size market and serve as the Stinger's ideological replacement.
