For the 2023 EV6, Kia has made some significant lineup adjustments. The old basic model of the EV6, known as
the "Light RWD," has been eliminated in favour of the Wind RWD by the South Korean automaker. The current Kia EV6 is thus a little more pricey.
In addition, Kia raised the cost of the EV6 by an additional $1000. The addition of leather upholstery, heated front seats,
exterior and internal vehicle-to-load ports, a smart power liftgate, and a Meridian luxury audio system as standard features helps Kia justify the Wind RWD's higher price.
The current selection is more considered while remaining diversified with the Wind RWD as the basic model.
